North Presbyterian Church and World Outreach Christian Church are co-hosting a community forum to learn more about the need for universal access to quality preschool education in Hamilton County, and to talk about ways of supporting that.
This Sunday, Jan. 25th, 11:30 AM
4222 Hamilton Ave. North Church auditorium
Children who are ready for school are twice as likely to be reading successfully by the end of 3rd grade. Studies have also show that there is a direct correlation between illiteracy rate of 3rd grade children and the number of jail cells required 15 years later. Preschool helps children be ready for school. The problem is that not all children have access to affordable preschool. A number of group in Cincinnati are joining efforts address this problem. And this Sunday, 11:30 AM, North Church and World Outreach Christian Church are co-hosting a community forum to learn more about what can be done.
(FYI: This event is also posted in the Nextdoor Northside Events Calendar)
