Instructional Leadership Team
An Instructional Leadership Team is a team formed by each school in CPS designed to share instructional leadership decisions to improve student achievement. The ILT is composed mostly of educators at the school, but it also includes two non- teaching staff and two parent representatives selected by parent members of the school’s Local School Decision Making Committee (LSDMC). The ILT makes budget recommendations, which then need LSDMC approval to occur.
Parent Representative: Stephanie Marston (contact)
Local School Decision Making Committee (LSDMC)
The LSDMC is a group of elected persons works in tandem with the school administration and the District to assess the needs of the school, to set goals from those needs, monitor ongoing academic progress, and to support all students, all staff, and all the families in the communities in which they represent and serve.
Chair: Thembi Carr (contact)
Parent Representatives: Katelyn Denning & Robert English
